About Leadline
A "Leadline" is the most important rope used in mountain climbing. The lead climber (a certified climber) makes his or her way up the mountain. At various points, this lead climber secures the leadline to guide the rest of the climbers up the mountain. Should any climber fall, the leadline is there to save his or her life! Go ahead! About Patrick
A serial entrepreneur, Patrick Thean has started and exited multiple technology startups, as well as served on a number of their boards. He received the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for North Carolina in 1996 and attained Inc 500 CEO status in 1997 when his firm achieved a ranking of 151. He was also awarded the Blue Diamond Neal Award by the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce in 1996 for his contributions to the technology industry in the Charlotte area. Patrick has served on the advisory council for the Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership. He was also an Adjunct Professor at Wake Forest University's Babcock School of Business where he taught on entrepreneurship.
